Here is how UFC 82 affected the the Top-10 rankings across all divisions:
Heavyweight and above: Andrei Arlovski moves up to #5 with a TKO stoppage of Jake O’Brien. Heath Herring moves up to #8 for his first Top-10 appearance in quite some time, while Cheick Kongo drops to #10.
Light Heavyweight: With Dan Henderson moving to 185 lbs, fighters ranked #6-#11 move up a slot, with Tito Ortiz now rounding out the Top-10.
Middleweight: Henderson debuts strong at #3 despite the loss to the champion. Anderson Silva widens his lead over the rest of the division, while Yushin Okami’s position remains unchanged after a victory over unranked Evan Tanner. Jorge Santiago is displaced from the Top-10.
Welterweight: Jon Fitch inches his way past Matt Hughes & Karo Parisyan to the #3 spot. Josh Koscheck trades places with Jake Shields at #6. Diego Sanchez remains at #9.
Lightweight: there were no 155-lbs fights at UFC 82.
