UFC veteran Rodney Wallace (11 – 4 – 0) defeated Cale Yarborough (8 – 3 – 0) by unanimous decision.  Since being released from the UFC in Auugust 2010, Wallace has gone 2-1.  Wallace moves from [#61LHW] into the middleweight “Top 350” at [#57] Yarborough, who is 2-3 in his last 5, drops 19 spots from  [#172] to [#191].

Lightweight (155 lbs)

“Ultimate Fighter” alum Cameron Dollar  (9 – 2 – 0) choked out Sylvain Bynum (4 – 2 – 0), winning by technical submission due to triangle choke at 1:46 of round 1.  Dollar, who was ranked at [#80FW], enters the lightweight “Top 500” at [#209].  Dollar is on a 5 fight win streak, all by stoppage.  Bynum, who is on a 2 fight losing streak, remains unranked.

Women’s Super Flyweight (125 lbs)

Heather Clark (3 – 1 – 0) defeated Jennifer Scott (2 – 1 – 0) by TKO due to punches in round 2.  Clark, who has rattled off 3 stoppage wins in a row, moves up 6 spots from [#15] to [#9].  Scott remains unranked.

Women’s Flyweight (115 lbs)

Bellator veteran Carla Esparza (5 – 1 – 0) defeated Yadira Anzaldua (2 – 3 – 0) by submission due to rear naked choke at 0:53 into round 1.  Esparza, who was ranked at [#13 Women’s SFW], enters the women’s flyweight “Top 15” at [#9].  Esparza is on a 2 fight win streak following her lone career loss in Bellator to Megumi Fujii.  Anzaldua, who is 2-1 in her last 3, remains unranked.

Marcus Levesseur (16 – 5 – 0) knocked out Brian Geraghty (24 – 16 – 1) at 1:52 of round.  Levesseur, who is 5-1 in his last 6 bouts, speeds 91 spots up the rankings from [#255] to [#164].  Geraghty, who prior to losing 2 in a row was on a 4 fight win streak, plummets 117 spots from [#236] to [#353].

Lightweight (155 lbs)

Zach Juusola (8 – 0 – 0) defeated Nate Jolly (10 – 3 – 0) by unanimous decision.  Juusola, who has won 7 of 8 victories by stoppage, enters the lightweight “Top 500” at [#307].  Jolly, who is 7-2 in his last 9, drops off the lightweight “Top 500.”  He was previously ranked at [#345].

Flyweight (125 lbs)

Brandon Merkt (11 – 0 – 0) defeated Tony Crowder (5 – 8 – 0) via submission due to rear naked choke in the 1st round.  Merkt, who has finished 9 of his 11 opponents, moves up 3 spots from [#26] to [#23]. Crowder, who is 2-3 in his last 5, remains unranked.

Heavyweight (265 lbs)

Rene Vargas (4 – 2 – 0) defeated Shane DeZee (14 – 12 – 0) by submission due to forearm choke in round 1.  Vargas, who is on a 4 fight win streak (all by stoppage), enters the heavyweight “Top 250” at [#201].  DeZee, who is 2-3 in his last 5, remains unranked.

Featherweight (145 lbs)

Bellator vet Travis Reddinger (15 – 3 – 0) defeated Mike Pickett (9 – 20 – 0) by submission due to rear naked choke.  Reddinger, who is 5-1 in his last 6, moves from [#67BW] to [#130FW]. Pickett, who is on a remarkable 9 fight losing streak (all to stoppage) remains unranked.

Women’s Featherweight (145 lbs)

EliteXC veteran [*] Kelly Kobold (17 – 3 – 1) defeated [?] Pipi Taylor (5 – 1 – 0) by submission due to armbar at 2:05 of round 1.  Kobold, who was on a 3 fight slide prior to this win, had not fought since her loss to Gina Carano in EliteXC on 10/4/2008. Taylor has finished all 5 of her victories.
