Kickstarter has paved the way for big tech and fitness names like Peloton, Oculus, and now Strike Coach. This is a first of its kind consumer robot. It is being introduced into homes and gyms, for fitness and combat training. Fitness equipment today is very static with limited engagement. A vast majority of products that are considered interactive, actually require a monitor screen to be engaged. STRIKECOACH does not have that issue! It truly is interactivity right out of the box. Which is effective and pure genius.
The founder identified a major flaw in fitness and combat training products. There is not a product on the market that makes you think and react, to what the product is actually doing. STRIKECOACH provides that solution. It is a robotic training mannequin that moves so you move. It is the only product that trains footwork through lateral movement, while landing strikes on a moving target. Which causes the end user to engage while thinking and reacting to what STRIKECOACH is doing. That is what real interactivity looks like.
An excellent feature is that the end user is provided real time stats, on each strike landed and can track the progress of their sessions over time. That makes STRIKECOACH the first robotic training mannequin you can beat up. It is truly groundbreaking and therapeutic to say the least. Due to being the first of it’s kind training apparatus, it is considered to be the combat version of TopGolf. The team figured out how to create a link between fitness, robotics, and gaming.
Before working with their commercial manufacturer everything was built in house. Directly in a Texas garage – from patent, to deployed beta units, to gyms. That speaks to the team and their belief in the product and mission. Now many are taking notice. The team has done quite a few activations for several events. Some of these include Austin Tech Week, USA Fit Games, WrestleMania 42, and SXSW at the UFC and Paramount + lodge.
The team acknowledges it took time to get to this point stating, “We have deployed a number of units to gyms in Texas, California, and Washington. In some cases the units have been deployed for over two years. Prior to hitting the market, with our production ready product, we ensured it would hold up in the gym setting. The time is ripe.” Ensuring durability, and user experience was critical to the team and product. They have done the leg work, and are ready to introduce a new era in fitness.
This is a team and product that deserves to be in the market. Check out their Kickstarter and support them. The Kickstarter link is below, and provides a 50% discount for their early backers!
