Event Preview
There will be a boxing event taking place on December 28, 2025. This will be located at Sumiyoshi Ward Center in Osaka, Japan. The event will be put on by Kenbun Taiho, via Taiho Promotions.
In the Super Bantam division, Tomomi Takano (15-6-1, 10 KO), will face off against undefeated Mao Nishi (3-0, 2 KO) who will both be fighting in an orthodox stance. The women’s rankings are only two points away. Who will win this exciting matchup?
Takano is the current WBC Asian Champion. She recently represented Japan in another event this fall. Her manager, Ilker Furat from Turkiye, has played a crucial role in preparing her for the fight. This is going to be the second fight that Takano will utilize Furat as her boxing manager. His management company is 12 Raund Sports.
With both fighters bringing unique skills and determination into the ring, anticipation for this contest is high among boxing fans. Nishi, still undefeated and gaining recognition for her powerful punches, will be eager to challenge Takano’s experience and championship pedigree. As the athletes prepare to make their mark in Osaka, local supporters and international viewers alike are set to witness a thrilling encounter that could shape the future of the Super Bantam division. The outcome may hinge on tactical choices and the guidance of their respective teams, promising an electric atmosphere and memorable moments for all in attendance.
