The landscape of mixed martial arts in Eastern Europe continues to evolve, and one of the region’s most respected organizations is entering a new era.
MMA Bushido has officially announced that Real Fight Promotion (RFP), one of Ukraine’s longest-running and most recognized MMA organizations, has become part of the MMA Bushido family.
For nearly two decades, Real Fight Promotion has been a significant force in Ukrainian mixed martial arts. Founded in 2007 by promoter Vitaliy Vovk, RFP has organized more than 100 events, helped develop numerous professional fighters, and established itself as one of the country’s leading MMA promotions. Throughout its history, RFP events have gained recognition from the international MMA community and reached audiences across Europe and the United States.
The integration represents a strategic step for both organizations. By combining RFP’s extensive experience within the Ukrainian combat sports market with MMA Bushido’s international infrastructure, media partnerships, event management expertise, and broadcasting network, the partnership aims to create new opportunities for fighters, coaches, sponsors, and fans throughout the region.

For RFP founder Vitaliy Vovk, the move represents the natural progression of nearly twenty years of work developing MMA in Ukraine.

Founded in Lithuania, MMA Bushido has become one of Europe’s most recognized combat sports organizations, while working with international broadcasters, media platforms, and sports organizations. The addition of Real Fight Promotion further strengthens Bushido’s position in Central and Eastern Europe and expands its reach into one of the region’s most passionate MMA markets.
While future projects involving the RFP team will operate under the MMA Bushido banner, the legacy and contribution of Real Fight Promotion to Ukrainian MMA remain an important part of the organization’s history. According to both sides, the goal is not to replace that legacy, but to build upon it as part of a broader international platform.
As MMA continues its growth across Europe, the integration of Real Fight Promotion into MMA Bushido signals another example of organizations joining forces to create stronger opportunities for athletes and fans alike.
