Hailey Pennington: My mentor growing up would have to be my father, Justin Pennington.
FM: What inspires you to succeed?
HP: I’m inspired by the drive to be different. I Imagine the body as a machine and I want to see how far I can push.
FM: Who is your favorite boxer of all time and why?
HP: I’m a huge David Benavidez fan. I think he’s very creative and unorthodox, he’s a dawg. His mindset is unbeatable.
FM: How do you juggle all of your business ventures at the same time?
HP: I don’t look at running a boxing gym as a job. It’s just my life.
FM: What are your hobbies?
HP: I don’t really have many hobbies. When do you have time for hobbies as a boxer?
FM: What are your short-term and long-term career goals?
HP: Short-term goals are to just get my career running. For long-term, I want to take over the 125 lbs division.

FM: You are a professional boxer and managed by Gwen Legge, from Eruption Boxing. How did you become involved in the boxing industry?
HP: When I started USA boxing I got into the ammy industry, and I started thinking about the pros. So, I talked to some people who connected me with other people.
FM: How old were you when you began training as a boxer?
HP: I started training when I was 18 years old .
FM: What would you say is the most rewarding part of being a professional boxer?
HP: Being a role model for the younger girls below me.

FM: Do you train and coach both men and women?
HP: Yes, I welcome all people at my gym.
FM: Do you coach children or adolescents, in addition to adults?
HP: Yes, I start children at 5 years old. They can begin competition at 8, USA boxing rules.

FM: Where is your gym located?
HP: Huntington, West Virginia
FM: Is this a gym exclusively for boxers?
HP: No, We welcome anyone that is looking to work out!
FM: At what age did you become a coach and trainer?
HP: 24 years old, when I opened the gym.

FM: How long have you been a promoter for?
HP: I wouldn’t call myself a promotor, i just threw my first show in January.
FM: Please tell us about your career as a promoter and why you decided to become one.
HP: It has only been about a month, but I just wanted to give the kids and fighters a nice place to show their hard work.
FM: Is there anything else you would like people to know about you?
HP: I think everyone will see throughout my career what they need to know about me.
