If you are a gaming fan, there is so much good news for you in 2024. Numerous releases are awaiting their debut, so coming up with only ten titles was way tougher than it sounds.

The best thing is that all the known dates are set not so far away, so you won’t have to wait too long to enjoy some of your favorite characters in action.

If you ever feel like taking a break from video games, you can add more spice to your routine by trying online casino games. For instance, Slotoro Casino online platform has so many games themed after the mainstream ones that you may fall in love with them more than the initial ones.

Below are the top ten most anticipated titles in 2024, so check them out as soon as they hit the market.

10. Final Fantasy 7 – Rebirth

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, the second installment of Square Enix’s FF7 remake project, reimagines Gaia after the original game concentrated solely on Midgar’s events. This remake/sequel gives character development more depth, modifying the game’s general narrative framework.

Many fans are undoubtedly eager for this adventure to begin in February. Still, there are many unanswered questions about what Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth modifies, what it preserves, and how much of the plot it covers.

9. Princess Peach: Showtime

There is a lot of excitement surrounding Princess Peach: Showtime because it is the first game since 2005 to feature the princess as the primary protagonist.

To stop the primary enemy, Wicked Grape, players can assume the roles of Princess Peach in multiple transformations, such as a sword fighter, detective, and Kung Fu martial artist. She will also work with her sidekick Stella in this role-playing game.

8. Dragon’s Dogma 2

For many years, fans have been clamoring for a Dragon’s Dogma remake or sequel, and in 2024, Capcom will finally grant their wishes. Twelve years after its debut, Dragon’s Dogma 2 follows an Arisen caught up in a war between Vermund and Battahl, two kingdoms.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 revives the Pawn system, using returning, hybrid, and entirely new vocations to define each one and its primary character.

A semi-open world that is four times larger than the previous game, emergent events reminiscent of Grand Theft Auto, destructible environments, intense and varied combat, and a dynamic day and night cycle are all included in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

7. Black Myth: Wukong

Black Myth: Wukong has been in the spotlight since its gameplay trailer in 2021, but it announced its distant August 20 release date live on stage at The Game Awards 2023.

In this game, players assume control of Sun Wukong, a monkey-like character known as the Destined One, and engage in soul-shaking combat with formidable foes.

6. Avowed

Avowed and the other games on this list do not have a verified release date, but 2024 has been confirmed as the release year. The upcoming role-playing game Avowed by Obsidian Entertainment takes place in the same universe as the titles of the Pillars of Eternity.

Assuming command of an Aedyr Empire envoy, players explore the Living Lands and look into the mystery plague that is destroying them. In addition to using magic, melee combat, and weapons, players can customize their characters through dialogue and skill trees.

5. Hades 2

Although Hades 2 won’t technically launch entirely in 2024, players can still access the game early that year. Supergiant Games, the game’s developer, is breaking a lot of history with Hades 2, as it will be the first sequel to any of its previous IPs.

Supergiant Games was undoubtedly inspired to create a sequel to Hades because it is one of the most recognizable and AAA-like independent games available.

4. Hellblade 2

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, whose developer Ninja Theory confirmed its 2024 release date this past summer, has been a long time coming, having been one of the first games announced for the Xbox Series X/S.

Though not much is known about the plot, it uses intricate graphics, sound design, and intense hack-and-slash action to carry on Senua’s adventure.

3. GreedFall 2

While retaining many of the elements that gamers adore about BioWare games like Dragon Age and Mass Effect, GreedFall succeeded in forging its own distinctive RPG identity and telling a story set in a fantasy world influenced by the eighteenth century.

In GreedFall, the main character De Sardet travels from the old continent of Gacane to the new world of Teer Fradee, fighting native people and other colonists along the way, and learns why so many Gacaneans are falling ill. The story revolves around colonialism and its destruction of people, including the oppressor.

2. Paper Mario: The 1000-Year Door

Many people consider Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door among the greatest titles in both the main series and its sub-franchise. But being locked on the GameCube means that playing the game nowadays might be expensive for people without vintage versions.

It’s difficult to defend its exorbitant costs, even on eBay and other used shops. While it’s possible to be fortunate and find it reasonably priced, fans have long been waiting for Nintendo to release Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door on the Switch. It will happen in 2024.

1. Star Wars: Outlaws

Star Wars Outlaws, dubbed the first open-world game in the franchise, puts players in the role of scoundrel Kay Vess and her cute sidekick Nix.

The game takes place during a busy period for the franchise—between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi—but it concentrates on something that many modern properties do not: the shady side of the galaxy.

While the Galactic Empire will undoubtedly be a challenge for players, The Hutts and other criminal groups operating around the galaxy will receive much attention.
