Heavyweight
The most exciting fights to watch are in the heavyweight division where violence and fabulous KO’s are almost guaranteed. Currently, there are several contenders for the title with Cyril Gane coming from being an unknown newcomer to a title contender after his big win against former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos.
Light Heavyweight
The top 5 in this division include Teixeira, Santos, Reyes and Rakic, but the best match could be between the Czech Jiri Prochazka and the champion Blachowicz.
Middleweight
With tough veterans and upcoming fighters challenging Adesanya as champion, the middleweight division is another exciting one to watch since rivalry is coming from several good fighters including Lungiambula who won a unanimous decision victory on the second fight card of 2021.
Strawweight
A division full of talent, including former UFC champions. This division is receiving a lot of positive attention right now and offers real excitement to spectators. Current champion Weili Zhang could meet newcomer Yan (Fury) Xiaonan another Chinese female fighter in a fight for the title by the end of 2021, but there is also competition from the young Brazilian Amanda Ribas.
Bantamweight
Another division full of amazing MMA talents and some exciting future matches including promising newcomer Petr Yan which could see the bantamweight division become one of the strongest UFC divisions. Cory Sandhagen is one of the most outstanding fighters in the UFC now and another potential titleholder in this division due to his deadly knockout power and speed.
Featherweight
Max Holloway dominated the division for a long time, but younger fighters are making this a great division with Lerone Murphy a UFC fighter from the UK with an unbeaten record, after having survived twice after being shot in the face, earning him the nickname “the miracle”.
Welterweight
The most competitive UFC division by far, with six fighters who can easily challenge for the title. Look out for Khamzat “Borz” Chimaev who has already won the fans choice of Debut of the Year, though he has suffered from the effects of coronavirus which has postponed his next bouts. Another good name in this division is Michael Chiesa.
Lightweight
In this division, there have been great rivalries between Conor, Khabib, and Ferguson and the top 10 fighters are currently all at the athletic prime which makes for thrilling fights for spectators since major changes can be caused by a single loss, with Tony Ferguson dropping from the top spot to number five after a loss against Gaethje.
