MFC Welterweight Championship

Welterweight (170 lbs)

Douglas Lima (18 – 4 – 0) blasted UFC veteran Terry Martin (21 – 9 – 0) and won by TKO due to punches at just 1:14 into round 1.  Douglas Lima moves up 15 spots from [#51] to [#36].  Lima is on a 6 fight win streak- winning 4 by stoppage, 3 by submission.  Martin drops 37 spots from [#69] to [#106].  Martin is 3-2 in his last 5.

MFC Light Heavyweight Championship

Light Heavyweight (205 lbs)

Ryan Jimmo (15 – 1 – 0) won a unanimous decision over Strikeforce vet Zak Cummings (13 – 3 – 0).  Jimmo, who is undefeated in 15 bouts, stays ranked at [#22].  Cummings, who has won 3 of his last 5 all via stoppage, drops 2 spots from [#81] to [#83].  Cummings was an injury replacement for [#36] Emmanuel Newton.

Lightweight (155 lbs)

UFC veteran Marcus Davis (18 – 9 – 0) defeated Curtis Demarce (10 – 9 – 0) by split decision.  Davis, who stayed ranked at [#59], won his first fight after being cut from the UFC following a less than stellar 1-4 run.  Davis most recent loss was a KO due to a punch at the hands of to [#23] Jeremy Stephens.  Demarce jumps 33 spots up the rankings from [#266 ] to [#230].  Demarce is on a 2 fight losing streak, both by split decision.  Prior to the 2 losses, Demarce was on a 7 fight win streak.

Lightweight (155 lbs)

UFC veteran Hermes Franca (21 – 11 – 0) defeated Robert Washington (9 – 3 – 0) by KO due to a punch at 0:26 into the 2nd round.  Franca, who was ranked at [#202WW], moves into the lightweight “Top 500” at [#166].  Franca is on a 2 fight win streak, stopping both of his opponents.  Washington, who remains unranked, has lost 3 of his last 5, 2 by KO.

Welterweight (170 lbs)

UFC veteran Pete Spratt (22 – 19 – 0) defeated Demi Deeds (15 – 9 – 0) via submission due to an armbar at 4:19 of round 2.  Spratt, who has lost 3 of his last 5 all to chokes, bounds 51 spots forward from [#213] to [#162], gaining his 9th career victory via submission.  Deeds, who was ranked at [#351LW] moves into the welterweight “Top 500”at [#459].  Deeds is on a 3 fight slide, losing all 3 by submission.

Middleweight (185 lbs)

Ali Mokdad (4 – 0 – 0) defeated Andreas Spang (5 – 1 – 0) by submission via rear naked choke at 1:35 of round 1.  Mokdad, who was ranked at [#169HW], enters the middleweight “Top 350” at [#151].  Mokdad has won all 4 of his professional bouts by rear naked choke.  Spang, who was previously ranked at [#258 ], falls off the middleweight “Top 350”.

Welterweight (170 lbs)

Undefeated Dhiego Lima (5 – 0 – 0) submitted Josh Taveirne (2 – 1 – 0) by rear naked choke at 3:35 into the 3rd round.  Lima, who has stopped all 5 of his opponents (4 with submissions), takes a giant 131 leap up the ranks from [#491] to [#360].  Taveirne remains unranked.

ROC Welterweight Championship

Welterweight (170 lbs)

Elijah Harshbarger (6 – 2 – 0) defeated George Sullivan (8 – 3 – 0) by unanimous decision.  Harshbarger flies 223 spots up the ranks from [#454] to [#231].  Harshbarger, who is 3 in his last 5, has finished all his victories except Sullivan.  Sullivan, who was on a 4 fight win streak prior to this loss, plummets 168 spots from  [#237] to [#405].

Welterweight (170 lbs)

Mikhail Malyutin (18 – 10 – 0) won a contentious split decision over UFC vet Chris Ligouri (12 – 9 – 0).  Malyutin, who has won 3 of his last 5, bounds 141 spots forward from [#311] to [#170]. Ligouri, whom many feel won this bout, dropped 47 spots from [#127] to [#174].  Prior to this loss, Ligouri was on a 3 fight win streak.

Lightweight (155 lbs)

WEC veteran Justin Haskins (7 – 5 – 0) defeated Liam Kerrigan (3 – 2 – 1) by TKO due to punches at 3:52 of round1.  Haskins, who has won 3 of his last 5, jumps 33 spots up from [#248] to [#215]. Kerrigan, who has won 3 of his last 5 (all by submission), remains unranked.

Middleweight (185 lbs)

Uriah Hall (5 – 2 – 0) defeated Aung La Nsang (7 – 5 – 0) by KO due to a punch at 1:37 of round 3.  Hall, who snapped a two fight losing streak with this victory, jumps 79 spots from [#194] to [#115].  All of Hall’s victories come by way of stoppage. Nsang, who is 3-2 in his last 5 bouts, drops 102 spots from [#240] t0 [#342].

Light Heavyweight (205 lbs)

Tom DeBlass (4 – 0 – 0) defeated UFC veteran Sean Salmon (18 – 14 – 0) by submission due to Achilles lock at just 0:57 of round 1 .  DeBlass jumps 64 spots up the ranks from [#212] to [#148].  Salmon, who was ranked at [#274MW], moves into the light heavyweight “Top 250” at [#231].  Salmon has lost 5 in a row; all to stoppage, 3 to submission.

Tony Hervey (11 – 11 – 0) defeated WEC veteran Mike Campbell (13 – 3 – 0) by KO due to a punch at 3:31 of round 1.  Hervey, who was ranked at [#102FW], enters the lightweight “Top 500” at [#98LW]  Hervey, who has won all his victories with finishes, broke a 4 fight losing streak with this win.  Campbell, who is 2-2 in his last 4, drops 51 spots from [#85] to [#136].

Middleweight (185 lbs)

Todd Chattelle (8 – 6 – 0) defeated Jeff Nader (4 – 4 – 0) by split decision.  Chattelle, previously unranked, enters the middleweight “Top 350” at [#316].    Chattelle has won 3 of his last 5. Nader,  who is on a 2 fight losing streak, remains unranked.

Middleweight (185 lbs)

Willie Parks (5 – 0 – 0) defeated Justin Gonzales (0 – 1 – 0) by TKO due to punches at 0:23 into the 2nd round.  Parks, who has fought twice in 2 weeks, moves up 1 spot from [#259] to [#258].  Undefeated Willie Parks has finished 3 of his 5 opponents.  Justin Gonzales remains unranked.

TUF 8 winner and UFC vet Efrain Escudero (16 – 2 – 0) defeated Ashe Bowman (9 – 9 – 0) by unanimous decision.  Escudero drops 3 spots from [#144] to [#147].  Escudero has won 3 in a row, 2 by submission.  He is tentatively scheduled to face [#71LW] Fabricio Camoes at Tachi Palace Fights 9 on May 9th in Lemoore, CA.  Bowman, who remains unranked, is on a 4 fight losing streak.
