Note: Throughout MMA history, male divisions smaller than Lightweight, and female fighting as a whole, have been sporadic and inconsistent in generating quality match-ups. This can cause a lack of separation between ranked fighters as it is necessary to match top fighters against one another on a consistent basis to generate a realistic view of the division.
