Topic: Traveling to Kazakhstan this summer — any tips on currency exchange?

Hey everyone!
I'm planning a trip to Kazakhstan this summer — really excited to explore Almaty, the Charyn Canyon, and maybe even some parts of the Altai mountains. I've heard the landscapes are breathtaking and the people are super welcoming.

One thing I'm still unsure about is currency exchange.
Is it better to bring US dollars or euros and exchange them locally? Are ATMs reliable? How's the exchange rate situation there?
Any tips or personal experiences would be super appreciated!
