Woo! Flyweight expansion
[...] none of this is to say that Carmouche, currently ranked #7 by MMA Rising and #9 by Fight Matrix, is not a talented fighter who could one day have a legitimate case as a title challenger. [...]
Bethe Correia is listed by Sherdog as being a Flyweight (125 lbs.). All three of the opponents on her record are also listed as Flyweights (125 lbs. twice and 121 lbs. once). I would think it would be safe to put her in the database in the Flyweight division unless there is info that contradicts that.

Unfortunately, Sherdog has started to insert fights that include “Unknown Fighter”. One of Gadelha’s wins is listed as such and we cannot store this type of non-scheduled (already taken place) fight in our DB. It’d be a mess to support this and I’m not sure I want to go down that road.
As for her last fight, the only info I can find lists it as a 57kg fight.
I believe Claudia Gadelha dropped to 115 for her last fight, and is scheduled to fight at 115 for an Invicta title fight against Carla Esparza. I think she’s made it pretty clear she’s a Strawweight now. Also Sherdog lists her as being 9-0, not 8-0.
Cris Cyborg Santos needs to cut to 139 and fight Rousey!!!!
Fly and Super Fly are close to getting another 5 tacked on. The others are not.
@jcs, sooooooo are any of the divisions looking like they might warrant expansion soon? Seems like there’s an awful lot of new blood coming in, particularly in the lower weight classes. Might Atomweight or Flyweight look to expand soon?
