Assuming Khabib wins as expected, what type of outcome would it take for him to pass Tony and Eddie?

I don’t think the winner will take the #1 spot here at Lightweight… Will be a close call.

    This is weird.

“Dana White just announced that Al Iaquinta, if he wins, will be considered UFC champion. White said that NYSAC may not recognize him as champ because of the .2 but he will. That is a new one.”

  5. oleg April 6, 2018 at 7:32 pm Reply

Dana claims UFC will recognize Al as champion but NYSAC won’t… absurd.

  6. oleg April 6, 2018 at 7:31 pm Reply

So is the main event for the title, or only Khabib eligible for the belt? I’m hearing conflicting reports…

How in the world did NYSAC not let Pettis or Felder fight, but Iaquinta? Talk about home cooking. UFC should stop holding events in NY, I don’t think there’s been a single one that went smooth without some bullshit.

  7. jcs April 6, 2018 at 7:25 pm Reply

Stupid that it isn’t for the title… Iaquinta was 0.2lb over. If he knew it was for the title, surely he’d have disrobed and/or lost the 0.2lb.

I actually thought there was a 0.25lb allowance in a lot of places… Have you ever heard the guy at the scale announce someone at 155.15 for example? There is SOME level of rounding.

  8. Eriksson Rau April 6, 2018 at 5:45 pm Reply

    GO Al

  9. oleg April 6, 2018 at 4:15 pm Reply

Iaquinta must be the happiest guy in the world right now.

Before asking where a specific fighter is ranked or why they aren't ranked:

- We update the rankings once per week, usually on Sunday or Monday.

- Fighters who have not fought in 450 days or more ARE NOT RANKED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

- Use the "Fighter Search" option in the upper-right of the page. The fighter may be ranked in a different division.

- Most of the divisions have multiple pages beyond this one. See the clickable ranges above and below the ranking table.

Furthermore, we do not maintain the "next fight" data. This is gathered from Sherdog. Any issues regarding this data should be forwarded to them.
