Notable Info

• In (what I’m sure will be) a celebratory release, Ray Mercer has fallen out of the rankings due to inactivity.  We decided to make a special early ranking release for this occasion.

  Guy Mezger reporting that Mercer is out due to being disallowed for an injury that occurred over a decade ago.

  It will drop him.. if he loses . He’ll lose a few more points than he had due to inactivity, and will continue to decay even if he wins.

  Don’t expect him to drop like a rock though.

  Missing and found (http://www.mmaforreal.com/2010/9/13/1685607/four-days-before-main-eventing-at) and back in the rankings by Monday. Fighting an unranked fighter should drop him a bit.

Before asking where a specific fighter is ranked or why they aren't ranked: - We update the rankings once per week, usually on Sunday or Monday. - Fighters who have not fought in 450 days or more ARE NOT RANKED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. - Use the "Fighter Search" option in the upper-right of the page. The fighter may be ranked in a different division. - Most of the divisions have multiple pages beyond this one. See the clickable ranges above and below the ranking table.
