I think gsp should edge out hughes on this one. He beat more people on the list and 2-1 with hughes. Anderson Silva instead of nick diaz. A lot of people don’t relize he was a welterweight!!! And after beating number one hayato sakurai he was number one!!!

Bottom of the Top 20. He spent a majority of his career above the Welterweight limit. The problem w/ pioneers like Miletich is that actual weight divisions were scarce before the late 90s and they are even harder to track down if an organization actually used them.

I’m pleasantly surprised to see Hughes ahead of GSP… and somewhat shocked that Koschek isn’t on the list.
